Review Policy

This blog contains reviews on various books which I read. The reviews can contain both good and bad points about the book, and as a reader, I am entitled to my opinion. This is my personal opinion on the book, so please don’t take offence if I do not share the same reading tastes or like the same books as you do. I do not intend to insult the author/publisher in my reviews, this is just my opinion on the books.

If you want me to review a particular book, you are most welcome to leave your suggestions in the comments below, or you can contact me on my email id which is given in the contact page. However it won’t always be possible for me to review each book suggested and I can, at my own discretion, choose the book I would like to read or refuse the ones I don’t. Authors who would like me to review their book as an ARC or otherwise can mail me. I do prefer paperbacks of the book much more than an electronic version, so do try to send me a paperback instead! 🙂

The rating system I use is out of 5 stars and they usually mean:

5 stars- One of my favourite books which is absolutely perfect and wonderful and I can fangirl about it forever- something i would recommend to every single person.

4 stars- Amazing book which was on the most part wonderful, and probably only had a few minor flaws which can easily be overlooked- definitely something I would recommend.

3 stars- An interesting book- not something i disliked but there were many things which could have been better. I wouldn’t recommend as a first choice, but not something which I wouldn’t recommend at all.

2 stars- Disliked the book. Only a few redeeming factors about it, but definitely not a book I would recommend or read again.

1 star- na na na never again. Really disliked it and liked practically nothing about the book. Would never feature in my recommend list and something I wouldn’t ever pick up again.

However, I also give .25, .5, and .75 ratings so just round it off to the nearest number.

Once again a reminder- all the opinions here are my personal opinions and are neither better nor less than yours.
