Hello readers!! This could possibly be the most hectic post on my blog so far, because I’m combining what should be three to four separate posts into one post and basically complicating my life. But life right now is filled with wayy too much homework, so in an attempt to try to achieve some balance, I’m doing this big combined post. I also want to finish all my tags before the end of the year, because if 2018 starts and my tags aren’t over, I’m going to have to say “So-and-so person tagged me for this post LAST YEAR” and I would feel awful saying that so I’m doing the best I can to clear up the tags. So without further blabbering- I was tagged for this post by the lovely DuskAngelReads, do go check out her blog, it’s amazing!! Let’s get right into this!
Part 1:
1. HOW MANY BOOKS DO YOU USUALLY READ AT ONCE?
I’m the person who doesn’t like reading too many books at a go. I like to dedicate all my attention to just one book, otherwise I kinda end up mixing up the stories. That being said, I usually only read one book at a time, but I don’t mind going up to two or even three sometimes.
2. IF YOU’RE READING MORE THAN ONE BOOK AT A TIME, HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHEN TO SWITCH BOOKS?
Well when I do end up reading two books, I just switch depending on my mood. It also depends on which book managed to hook me more, because I end up reading that first and just finishing it in a sitting. However if it doesn’t keep me interested, then I switch to my other book, and switch back according to my mood.
3. DO YOU EVER SWITCH BOOKMARKS WHILE YOU’RE PARTWAY THROUGH A BOOK?
Is it weird that I don’t use bookmarks? I just memorise the page number usually. I always end up losing bookmarks, I can never keep track of them!
4. WHERE DO YOU KEEP THE BOOK(S) YOU’RE CURRENTLY READING?
They’re usually just on my bedside table, or on the sofa- again, it depends where I am sitting and reading.
5. WHAT TIME OF DAY DO YOU SPEND THE MOST TIME READING?
Oooh I’m the lunatic who reads EVERYWHERE. On the bus, in the breaks between classes, in lunch, when I come home, before I go to sleep- literally ALL.THE.TIME. But I think I spend the most time reading when I get back home after school, because I end up getting one to two hours of uninterrupted reading time, which is basically the best part of my day.
6. HOW LONG DO YOU TYPICALLY READ IN ONE SETTING?
Depends on the book! I usually read most of my books in one to two sittings, which means I can do an easy four to five hours of uninterrupted reading. The longest I’ve done though, was eight hours, which ended badly cuz I got no sleep and I was EXHAUSTED in school the next day.
7. DO YOU READ HARDBACKS WITH THE DUST JACKET ON OR OFF?
I read them with the dust jackets on, idk why, I guess I’m too lazy to even take them off. I do complain a lot about them and how annoying they are, but for some reason I never take them off.
8. WHAT POSITION DO YOU MAINLY USE TO READ?
Lying in bed like the potato that I am. It makes my mom reallyyyy mad at me. XD
9. DO YOU TAKE THE BOOK YOU’RE CURRENTLY READING WITH YOU EVERYWHERE?
Nah. I take it with me to school cuz it’s the best way to avoid people, but I don’t take it anywhere else in case I lose it or it gets damaged.
10. HOW OFTEN DO YOU UPDATE YOUR GOODREADS PROGRESS ON THE BOOK YOU’RE CURRENTLY READING?
Ummm…confession….I don’t. I just keep forgetting to okay! I update when I’ve finished a book or just started a book, but I never do the “Where I am in the book rn” part of it.

And anyone else who wants to do this tag!
Part 2:
Favourite Blog Posts This Month!
So the lovely Kristin from Kristin Kraves Books has started a new Monthly Meme: Favourite Blog Posts This Month! This is a wonderful idea, and a great way to appreciate all the amazing posts of other bloggers! The rules are real simple: All you have to do is share some of your favourite blog posts of the month! You can do this at any point in December, just remember to link back to her blog! So these are my favourite posts of the month:
As you all know, Lu is one of my fav blogger friends. She has tonssss of great posts on her blog, but one which I took inspiration from for my own discussion post was her post on Why There Are So Few Boy (YA)Book Bloggers . I lovedloved the points she raised in this post, and thought it was a greatt discussion!!
Another greattt blogger friend I have is Ioana from Dragon Waffles, who had a hilarious and amazingg post on Common Types of the Mysterious Author Creatures. The post is straight up HILARIOUS and true AFFF so I strongly (very strongly) encourage (force) you to go check out her post!!
Another amazing post this month was by May from Forever and Everly. I’ve just recently started following her blog, but OMG I love it already!! Her post 9 Bookworm Stereotypes… We Don’t Always Hide Away All Day (Tho That’s Fun) Ft. Rants!! About the Patriarchy!! is the most relatable thing EVER, all you bookworms have to read it NOW.
Lastly, Shanah from Bionic Bookworm wrote an AMAZING review on They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera, and now I totally have to get my hands on the book and read it!! If you’re debating reading that book or not, I think you should really give Shanah’s review a read!
These are the blogs I’m mentioning this time, I’m sure I’ve missed a LOT few, which is why for next time, I’m gonna make a note of every amazing post I come across so that I don’t forget anyone!
Part three:
Goodreads reading challenge ACHIEVED!!! I read 100 books this year!!! A HUNDRED. I didn’t think I would get there, but OMG I did, and I’m so proud, cuz like 100 is a LOT.
Part four:
I’VE REACHED FOUR HUNDRED FOLLOWERS. WHAT?!?!? MIND=BLOWN. I DON’T BELIEVE IT. THIS CRAZY GIRL WHO HAS NEVER BEEN CONFIDENT ABOUT HER WRITING SKILLS HAS 400 PEOPLE WHO REGULARLY READ ALL THE NONSENSE SHE WRITES. HOW?!? THANK YOU GUYS SOOOO MUCH. LIKE NO THANK YOU IS ENOUGH. YOU GUYS ARE ALMOST BETTER THAN PIZZA. THANKS FOR MAKING MY BLOGGING JOURNEY SO FUN FOR ME ILY ALL. ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
That’s enough for a post today. I’m sorry it’s all so hectic-ey and chaos-y and confusing-y but ABBRGJKB NO TIME TO DO ANYTHING ANYMORE. But my winter break is slowly coming around, so I should have lots of time to blog then! If you read the entireee mess this post was, THANK YOU.

I could never read more than one book?? Sometimes I do, for buddy reads, but most of the time I have to stick with one book. My brain can’t deal with any more than that. 😂 Great post, and thank you for linking to my own post!! 😊💕

Congrats on hitting 400 followers and finishing your GR challenge! I always read with the dust jacket on too, until I did this book tag a little while back haha. I tried taking it off and it was so much more comfortable reading without it.

Can you tell me how to tag someone, I’m really confused about that
LikeLiked by 1 person
Oh when you’re writing the post, you highlight the text you want to link, and then you click on this button near the font stuff which looks like a chain. You click on that and paste the URL of whichever post you want to link. But the URL has to be from the actual website, not the reader! Hope this helped- I know it sounds a bit confusing!
